Ric Flauding is an award-winning composer, orchestrator, arranger, and classically trained guitarist. A graduate of the UCLA Film Scoring Program, Ric has composed and produced works in many types of audio, video, and motion picture media. He has composed and arranged in styles ranging from classical to jazz to easy listening, and has performed with some of America’s best known jazz and pop artists.

To date Ric has released a dozen albums and has more than a hundred singles on popular music download sites. His new album, "The Journey Collection," includes seven of Ric's jazz compositions and the first international release of the dynamic "Suite for Guitar."

The albums Caleo, Escape, Jazz Passages, and SoundScape: South California are perennial favorites with contemporary and smooth jazz fans. He has also recorded two Christmas albums, two collections of sacred music, and has more than 200 songs in the ASCAP database.

Ric has arranged and composed for soloists, ensembles, and orchestras in Europe, the U.K. and several U.S. cities, and teaches performance, composition, and theory to students in this country and abroad. Thanks to his amazing sheet music library, Ric's music is performed around the world. He is a jazz-band conductor, and a clinician, adjudicator, and guest performer for college and university workshops.
